LANGFORD DISCUSSES TODD AND MARCUS

Ummm what? Marcus loves Todd? I’m sorry, but this story just keeps getting more ridiculous, mostly because the show insists on ruining Marcus as a character. Maybe it’s because I’ve always liked Marcus, but it really bugs me how they’re writing him. Marcus has always been level headed and pulled together. He certainly was not the type you could play for a fool. So I don’t get how Todd, who is about as subtle as a sledgehammer, can so easily play him.

It was hard enough for me to buy that Marcus would leap into a relationship with Todd give that Marcus knows how scheming, manipulative and dishonest Todd is, all traits that Marcus finds abhorrent. So for Marcus to fall in love with him without hesitation is just inconceivable. But what makes even less sense is that Todd would tell Tony that he’s planning to take Marcus for all he’s worth and then dump him. Clearly telling Tony is how he'll be found out, but why would Todd tell Tony? It makes no sense and makes Todd looks stupid. And Todd is many things, but dumb is not one of them. I guess the show insists on writing everybody out of character to make the story work.
