HISTORY BEHIND VIDEO: Last week, a guy named Richard Neill posted a long, funny comment on UK maxipad maker Bodyform's Facebook page about how the company had lied to him through their advertising campaigns over the years, leading him to believe that periods involved a lot of blue liquid, extreme sports, and fun music. It received nearly 85,000 likes. Instead of ignoring it, Bodyform responded with the video above, featuring CEO Caroline Williams (played by an actress) apologizing to Richard personally, explaining that the company needed to lie to protect men from "the blood coursing from our uteri like a crimson landslide." And then she drinks blue liquid and farts.

Last night everyone's fave couple were back on the cobbles. Yep, Marcus and Maria are starting to make more frequent appearances after a long absence. The writers are making them appear to be a very secure and happy couple....for the time being!
Zodiak’s Tickety Toc Toy Launch at Hamleys attracts celebrities
Sunday 21.7.2013 Zodiak Kids’ pre-school property Tickety Toc was a hit with kids in Hamleys when the company unveiled Vivid’s Toy Line to a host of guests including journalists, mummy bloggers and celebrities and their families on Sunday morning.
The two-hour event was attended by stars including TV presenter Denise van Outen, husband Lee Mead and daughter Betsy, actress Tamzin Outhwaite and daughters Florence and Marnie, Kate Garraway with Darcy and William, Apprentice runner-up Luisa Zissman and Dixie as well as Strictly star John Sergeant with grandchildren Harper and Darcy. Other celebrity guests included Coronation Star Charlie Condou with daughter Georgia, actor Shaun Doolley and family, Footballers Wives and Holby City actress, Laila Rouass, Escape to the Country’s Melissa Porter and former Eastenders star, Lauren Crace.
Guests were treated to a fun-packed morning which celebrated the launch of Tickety Toc toys hitting stores from next weekend. The morning kicked off with a meet and greet with Tickety Toc stars, Tommy and Tallulah and a Tickety Toc sing and dance-a-long event with the presenters of Channel 5’s Milkshake!, where Tickety Toc airs every weekday at 9am. Children were also treated to Story-time and Making-time activities as well as Playtime where they became top-secret toy testers and were introduced to Vivid’stoy line which includes hero product, the Clockhouse Playset and Musical Pufferty Train as well as Tommy and Tallulah talking plush.
The Hamleys event was a huge success for Zodiak resulted in widespread press coverage with the toy launch mentioned in The Daily Mail online, The Daily Mirror and will also appear in this week’s edition of Reveal and OK! magazine. Celebrities also tweeted during and after the event.
Talking at the event, Mum and actress Denise Van Outen said: “Betsey was really excited to be attending the Tickety Toc event and she’s had a great time testing the toys and particularly loved the dancing with Milkshake! presenters. She has found some brand new friends in Tickety Toc.”
Commenting on the toy launch Jennifer Lawlor, SVP Consumer Products, Zodiak Kids London said: “The launch of Tickety Toc toys is a huge milestone for the brand and our collaboration with Vivid has produced a range of product which we are extremely proud of. The Hamleys event is just one of a number of PR and marketing events and activities we are running throughout the year to support our licensees as we roll-out Tickety Toc consumer products in the UK and we are delighted by its huge success.”
Tickety Toc airs at 9am every weekday on Channel Five’s Milkshake! and daily at 8am on Nick Jr and 4pm and 4.15pm on Nick Jr2!

TOMMY IS BACK!
Dear CCC Blog Readers,
Starting 2 years ago Tommy Coleman and I followed each other on Twitter. I originally chatted to him because my wife has Coleman ancestry and we talked about family surnames etc. Tommy was an aspiring entertainer from Virginia USA but had relocated to London, England. When work petered out he made a sad farewell and headed home to the USA but we've kept in contact ever since. I told him at the time he left London, I could see him back working there again - you know I am slightly psychic, right - and guess what? Here is the news:
