Things are about to get complicated for Coronation Street’s Marcus and Maria.

After his breakup with his boyfriend Sean, Marcus, played by out gay actor Charlie Condou, moved in with his best gal pal Maria, enjoying spending time with her and her son Liam, giving Marcus the family life he’d always wanted.

However, Marcus is completely unaware that Maria was in love with him, even though she began dating Jason and he began dating his co-worker Aiden. But according to the show’s executive producer Phil Collinson, Marcus will soon become aware of Maria’s feelings for him and that might bring up some surprising feelings within himself.

“It's a big story for us. Maria is in love with Marcus, and so far he's oblivious to that. But obviously he's going to become aware of it, and I think he'll have to ask some big questions about his sexuality.” 

 “Marcus has identified himself as a gay man, but then again he does love Maria and he loves the idea of having a family of his own for the first time. I think that's going to be a really interesting story across the coming months."

Charlie and the Corrie cast have just finished shooting a variety of night scenes. This may incur heavy breathing and back seats of cars...one can only hope!

Having just reached the 50,000 hits per week mark I would like to say thank you to those who come back regularly to read about Mr Condou's exploits. 

I am seriously thinking of starting some additional blogs about my hobbies, interests, home-life or writing about some self-help topics next - including such things as: 

Dads who crochet clothes for their babies without using patterns, how to cope with 2 children who are saints, stamp collecting and how to lick your collection into shape, how to get a handle on teapot collecting, Carlton Ware collecting for the cracked, how to cope with being slightly psychic (I know already, that you know a bit on that topic), life on the road as a mobile disco operator, how to manage 6 different Twitter accounts and still keep your sanity, the history and crews of the lifeboats of NSW, tapestry making for fun and profit, how to run blogs for TV stars and celebrities, tracing your family history and how to discover if you have convict ancestors, how to spot a good latte from 30 paces away, how to travel the world on a budget with 2 kids under the age of 13, CD ripping and how to avoid the pitfalls of being sent to jail, how to be a male infants mistress before you are age 36, how to collect 12" vinyl music from scratch, how to edit, remix and make extended versions of songs on your own PC, home recording studios and how to install them, the naked truth on how to be a home naturist, how to edit porn movies so you only get the good bits....

See, I think I can offer the world a rich and rewarding set of blog topics (maybe not) x
