Will Maria catch Todd and Marcus in a moment of passion?!

Todd Grimshaw (Bruno Langley) set his sights on Marcus Dent (Charlie Condou) just days after arriving back on Coronation Street, and in an upcoming episode, it seems Todd’s scheming over Marcus is about to pay dividends…

The drama begins in the double-bill of episodes that air on Monday, 17 March, when Marcus’s girlfriend Maria Connor (Samia Ghadie) has arranged for him to go and view a house that the couple want to buy.

However, at the last minute, she finds she’s able to go herself, but as she wants to surprise Marcus so doesn’t tell him that she’ll be there too. Todd overhears this and puts a plan into motion by turning up at the showhouse himself, and immediately passing himself off as Marcus’s boyfriend…

When the agent showing the houses leave the pair alone, Todd seizes the opportunity and kisses Marcus.

‪Spoilers‬ 17.3.14: 

Marcus Dent makes a big mistake later this month as he falls into a trap set by Todd Grimshaw. Marcus is completely unaware of Todd's true intentions as the schemer engineers a situation for them to be caught out by Maria Connor. Todd's latest plotting unfolds as Marcus and Maria continue to search for a new family home. With Marcus out visiting a show house, Maria tells Todd that she is planning to surprise him by meeting him there in a short while. Todd quickly comes up with a cunning plan and heads to the show house himself, where he puts Marcus in an awkward situation by posing as his boyfriend. Inside the house, Marcus eventually responds to Todd's advances and kisses him passionately. However, as Maria pulls up outside with Audrey Roberts, Marcus's fling with Todd is about to be exposed…
