CORRIE: MARCUS AND MARIA

There's lots happening on the cobbles at the moment.

In last night's Corrie, Maria and Marcus had two big scenes.

The first scene has Marcus and Maria discussing their future, while having breakfast at the diner. Their conversation revolved around them making a commitment as a couple and maybe thinking about having a baby.

Before Marcus and Maria discuss the possibility of children the pair are interrupted...

Later at the hair salon, Marcus wants to broach the subject of children.

He tentatively approaches Maria.

Maria says she's not ready for children.

Marcus says he's relieved by her answer...but is he?

Maria would like to take their relationship to a new level though by moving to a bigger house.

As long as their plans don't interfere with their current landlady, Audrey.

They agree it would be wonderful to have a bigger home and seal the deal with a kiss.

TONY ABBOTT - A TRENDSETTER, WHO KNEW?

It was a slow day yesterday! Birthday boy Charlie Condou wasn't tweeting much, my wife was at our pregnant daughter's farm looking after her, all the bills and creditors were paid &c...Soooo, I had plenty of time to conjure up some not-so-flattering memes for Oz PM, Tony Abbott. Now, I don't have a big Australian Twitter following, so I was taken by surprise to discover that the relatively few Aussie followers I have, were responsible for making Mr Abbott a Twitter trendsetter! The first meme I created was sent out into the Twitterverse at about 9pm and by 10pm my Twitter names were trending in Sydney and Brisbane on Trendsmap.
