CORRIE A RATINGS WINNER
Coronation Street topped a strong evening for all of the soaps on Monday (November 4), overnight figures show. 9.25m (40.3%) tuned in at 7.30pm on ITV and 169k (0.7%) on +1 as Todd Grimshaw arrived back in Weatherfield, while 8.93m (36.1%) returned at 8.30pm and 229k (1.0%) on +1 as Todd was forced to confess his recent bad behaviour to Eileen.

Coronation Street's Charlie Condou has confirmed his character Marcus Dent's relationship with Maria Connor will be rocked by the return of Todd Grimshaw. Marcus and Maria (Samia Ghadie) got together last year despite Marcus having always been gay. He told other Street residents he had genuinely fallen for Maria and wanted to be a family with her and her son Liam. But Charlie revealed that when Todd (Bruno Langley), the brother of Maria's ex-boyfriend Jason, arrives back in Weatherfield he stirs up a whole heap of trouble for the happy couple. Charlie said: "Marcus and Maria have got some very difficult times ahead coming up. I think it's no secret that Todd Grimshaw is coming back to the street and obviously another gay character, he's going to cause some problems and create some waves.
Meanwhile, Bruno has stated: "Yes, Todd has his eye on Marcus. Todd's one of those people who enjoys the drama of splitting couples up!
