THE Independent's Pink List, which was first published in 2000, recognises the top 50 influential lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people. Number one is journalist Paris Lees. Next are TV and radio presenter Clare Balding, sharing an equal second with activist Peter Tatchell, a veteran campaigner.
Other people in the list include Coronation Street star Charlie Condou, a gay rights advocate. According to the Pink List, the father-of-two, who came in at number 11, recently hosted a day out for LGBT parents and their children at London Zoo, acknowledging the isolation that can come with being an LGBT parent.

MONDAY NIGHT'S CORRIE WAS PRETTY JUICY ACCORDING TO FANS
Below: In Pt.1 of Corrie, Marcus and Maria arrive at the Rovers for a quiet night. But, before they even have drinks they have to endure Sean the *barmaid's catty comments. And not far away from the happy couple trouble develops...after all this is a soap!
