Charliecondou: @meamandamealing you're moving??
THE PASS
jounwin: Oooh now then everyone. Just seen The Pass at the Royal Court. Do chirp if you've seen - dying to discuss
djy12345: @jounwin Ach! Went to bed at the crucial moment! Saw it two weeks ago. Wanted to like it more than I did in the end. Which was quite a lot.
Charliecondou: @djy12345 @jounwin I've heard great things. Should I go?
jounwin: @Charliecondou @djy12345 I thought: great writing, great performances, something big missing in third act but Charlie tonight is last night
Charliecondou: @jounwin @djy12345 oh bugger!
djy12345: @jounwin @Charliecondou yes was all ready to love it but didn't quite get there in the end. Still Russell T in pants not to be sniffed at.
SJ_Watson: @jounwin @Charliecondou @djy12345 thumbs up from me, too. Plus, attractive men wearing underwear. What’s not to like?
jounwin: @SJ_Watson @Charliecondou @djy12345 What letches! I was ONLY interested in the text, structure.. Also beautiful men in pants.
Charliecondou: @jounwin @SJ_Watson @djy12345 tsk, I'm only interested in text and structure too! (I've seen him in his pants)
SJ_Watson: @Charliecondou @jounwin @djy12345 of course text and structure. Of course.
TODD AND MARCUS
Corrie gay kiss complaints rejected
Coronation Street will not be investigated over complaints to Ofcom about a scene where Marcus Dent and Todd Grimshaw kissed.
Ofcom received over 100 complaints about the episode which showed the Marcus (Charlie Condou) and Todd (Bruno Langley) in a half-naked embrace, according to Digital Spy.
The viewers who complained about the scene, which ended with the pair heading off towards the bedroom after Todd had pursued Marcus for weeks, said that it shouldn't have been shown before the 9pm watershed.
But Ofcom reportedly said that the ITV soap's scene fell within accepted standards and they would not investigate complaints on the grounds of what sex the actors involved were.
A spokesperson for the broadcasting regulator said: "Ofcom can confirm that it is not investigating the scene in Coronation Street as it was not in breach of generally accepted standards.
"Our rules do not discriminate between scenes involving opposite sex and same sex couples."
Ofcom notes that many of the complainants thought the topless smooch was ’sexually suggestive’ and unsuitable for pre-watershed broadcast.
