Todd to plan heartbreak for Marcus

Coronation Street schemer Todd Grimshaw makes a shock confession next week as he admits that he is planning to dump Marcus Dent. Todd (Bruno Langley) reveals his intentions in a private conversation with Tony Stewart, admitting that he plans to move on from Marcus once he has got all he can from him. It's clear that there is heartbreak ahead in the storyline, as Todd reveals his ruthless plans just as Marcus is starting to truly fall for him. Marcus even tells Todd that he loves him during a tipsy moment after a few drinks, which bring his true feelings to the fore. Although Marcus regrets being so full-on the next morning, he is blissfully unaware that Todd doesn't really care about him. Charlie Condou, who plays Marcus, told Digital Spy: "I think everyone knows that this romance is doomed!  "Marcus has definitely fallen for Todd, but whether he has fallen for Marcus or not is a different matter. I don't think it's going to end well!" Todd went to great effort to win Marcus earlier this year, but they finally became a proper couple a few weeks ago following Marcus's split from Maria Connor. Condou filmed his final scenes for Coronation Street last week following his decision to bow out from the show.
