FIRES ACROSS NSW AUSTRALIA

Confidential_CC: Monstrous bushfires here in Port Stephens Oz. Daughter's town told to evacuate. We've had no electricity for most of day. We have refugees staying for the next day or two.

Confidential_CC: Son-in-law has driven back to evacuated house to try to get photos and docs. It's night time, it's a bit cooler but it's a nervous wait.

Confidential_CC: My daughter's farm was cleared of pine trees in April so we are grateful that it's probably saved their home.

Confidential_CC: Size of fire front is longer than mainland England. Many homes lost. Massive loss of livestock and wildlife. Night temp 32c.

Confidential_CC: 96 fires still burning in NSW. Only 36 are contained. Many volunteer firefighters suffering burns and lung damage.

Confidential_CC: Son-in-law left farmhouse with meagre possessions in box. Left all water hoses running with sprinklers. He tried to make his way to our house.

Confidential_CC: He was cut off and can't get through. He's made for his parent's house and we've just had a text to say he's there. First time daughter and son-in-law have been separated since marriage.

Confidential_CC: My pregnant daughter's blood pressure has hit an all time high. She already has complications with losing a twin and this is not helping. We can't leave town as all roads are blocked.
