#CORRIECANCER
MARIA GETS THE GOOD NEWS
Jason is a bit miffed that Marcus gets to take Maria to hear the results of her biopsy but he gives Maria flowers and is comforted that he and Maria will be moving in together soon.
Jason leans into the cab and asks Marcus to make sure he looks after Maria.
It's an anxious wait at the hospital.
Maria is convinced that she has cancer and is expecting bad news.
The biopsy is all clear and Marcus is looking more relieved than Maria.
So back to the salon flat they go and Marcus cracks open a bottle of bubbly.
After more bubbly they get dressed to go out to Eileen's party.
Maria and Charlie have a serious lapse of judgement and a celebratory kiss becomes something more deep and meaningful.
At Eileen's party, Marcus is emotionally confused when he sees Maria and Jason together. Marcus tries to convince Aiden to leave the party and blames his jitters on Sean being present.
Marcus, Aiden and Jason all leave at the same time.
Marcus and Aiden get back to the salon flat and Marcus becomes standoffish with Aiden.
Aiden moves in for a kiss and Marcus almost pulls away because he needs to recoup his position and get his head around what has happened in the past 24 hours. His emotions are going haywire.

CHUCK WAGON
The Coronation Street cast are all big kids at heart and recently they got to muck around on a motorised skateboard during a break from filming. Alan Halsall had brought the toy into work after returning from a trip to South Africa to visit his wife, former Corrie star Lucy-Jo Hudson, who is currently filming Wild At Heart. And it made a nice change to see the actor smiling, as viewers are more used to seeing Tyrone in anguish, due to his violent relationship with abusive partner Kirsty. Alan tweeted about bringing the radio-controlled skateboard on to set for his mates to take a spin, calling it his new "boy's toy". Alan was joined by cast members Chris Fountain, Simon Gregson, Jack P Shepherd, Charlie Condou (pictured below), Nick Tilsley and Tony Hirst.
Above: This is a very rare picture of Charlie and it's the first time this picture has been released to the public. I don't think even Charlie knew it existed!

CORRIE
Coronation Street star Charlie Condou has said that he has been pleased by the reaction from fans to his shock romance plot.

Charlie, who plays Marcus Dent in the Weatherfield soap, said that the surprise love plot has got Corrie fans talking. He told Digital Spy: "I think a lot of people will probably be quite confused by it, but what I would say is that nobody is more confused than Marcus and Maria.“If they had the kiss and then all of a sudden they said, 'Oh we're together now, why is everyone confused by it?', I think I'd have a problem with the storyline. But that's not the case - they're still really confused by what's going on. "They're trying very hard because they really love each other, but I think there's going to be a lot of problems down the road. That will ultimately be because of Marcus's sexuality. And for anybody that has doubts about the storyline, I'd say just be patient, stick with us and watch where it goes." Condou hinted that the plot may go on for some months to come. He explained: "[Show chiefs] certainly haven't talked to us about an ending to it yet. “We usually only find out our stories a few months ahead, and at the moment we're still very much together. But who knows?” He added: “This is Coronation Street, and I can't imagine that things would ever run smoothly in soap!"
