Corrie star picks Father’s Day competition winner

UK gay rights charity Stonewall and Coronation Street's Charlie Condou (father-of-two) helped celebrate Fathers Day 2012 with a promotional giveaway. Charlie read through a variety of Twitter tweets and picked the winner on behalf of UK-based gay rights charity Stonewall who created the ‘Thanks Dad!’ contest. They asked gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people to share positive stories about fatherhood. Twitter user @Sibster008 was the overall winner. She tweeted: “#thanksdad For telling me that my crush on Sigourney Weaver was just one more thing we had in common when I came out! Legend.”
