UnlikelyHeroine: I understand what is being said if the Marcus character continues to identify as gay and if the actor who plays him says he is still gay. Marcus has an overriding sexuality and Maria is an exception. With every other person Marcus has ever been attracted to or slept with being male and only one woman, that sounds like a gay man. However Marcus has decided he is in love with Maria, is having sex with her, and seems poised to pursue a relationship with her. I can see how a lot of people would then query whether he was gay in that scenario. Would the Marcus of a year ago consider the Marcus we are seeing now as gay in the way that past Marcus was?

avon942: Maria isn't suddenly seducing a gay man - they are two people who have fallen in love despite one of them being gay. This storyline has been building up for nearly a year. I think people forget it didn't start with a kiss. Will it will work out the way the writers want it to. It's gonna be interesting when Marcus's parents come to town for Christmas.

hetty100: I thought they had really good chemistry, I think he bedded her a bit too quickly though, It seemed strange that Marcus would have had sex with a woman so instantly, they should have been together a while first. Can't wait for the fall out
