[…It was lovely taking Hal into work and showing him off – most of my colleagues hadn't met him yet. Hal's an incredibly smiley baby and he didn't let me down, doing exactly what he was supposed to do – flirt with all the make-up ladies and gurgle and giggle at the cast and crew…Babies are great. You put them down while you go to the loo and when you come back they're still in the exact same place you left them. Toddlers, of course, are shouting "Daddy what are you doing?" through the bathroom door…]
