He appeared in Fred Claus with Vince Vaughn and Kevin Spacey in 2007, before joining Coronation Street, in the Summer of 2007. He decided to leave the show a year later. In the same year he appeared in the movie "Good", starring Viggo Mortensen and Jason Isaacs. A supporter of numerous charities, Condou has signed up for the MoonWalk London 2011 on May 14, 2011 and is part of a team which hopes to raise in excess of £30000 for the breast cancer charity.

Celebrities flocked to the launch of Manchester’s Parisian-inspired Spa 303 in the Hilton Hotel on Deansgate.
Coronation Street stars Samia Smith, Alison King, Charlie Condou, Jimmy Harkishin, Big Brother’s Stuart Pilkington, Hollyoaks’ Sarah Jayne Dunn and a host of other famous faces enjoyed a night of pampering at the stunning new spa launched by former Harrods and Harvey Nichols hair & beauty expert Tina Robinson. Also appearing was the BBC’s newest talent spotter, Armand Beasley, star of this autumn’s must-see reality programme, Britain’s Hottest Couple.
At the party, celebrities, business leaders and the great and the good of Manchester enjoyed Yonka back, neck and shoulder massages, Cloud Cuvee ‘good to go 30-minute treatments’, express pedicures and manicures and Jeanne Piaubert facials. The more daring could also indulge in some intimate grooming with vajazzles and the male equivalent – p-jazzles – available. Alison King, who plays Carla Connor in Corrie, said she loves having beauty treatments: “But I never get chance to do this a lot. I’ve been on nights for about four nights, so I’m just haggard! “I’ve just had a nice hand massage. I must book in. Apparently here they can do three things at once: facial, pedicure and a massage all in an hour. “I’m having a massage, at last, on Saturday. I’ve not had one for months, so I’m looking forward to that.” Tina Robinson said: “It was a night for us to showcase the very best in beauty and relaxation treatments with our exclusive products. “Everyone had a great time. And we had great fun doing everything from pedicures to p-jazzles!” Tina, originally from Manchester, has more than 26 years experience in the beauty business, including working for brands such as Vidal Sassoon, Regis, Aveda and Urban Retreat at Harrods and Harvey Nichols.
She enlisted renowned interior designer Luci Roper of Luci Living Design to create a cream and black haven using natural fabrics and pale wood flooring. It also incorporates the latest state-of-the-art equipment including the ‘Cloud Cuvee Chair’ which means customers can have a manicure, pedicure and facial at the same time. Customers can also enjoy ‘daycation’ beauty packages making the most of the Hilton’s superb infinity pool and jacuzzi as well as their choice of beauty treatments, bubbly and lunch, with packages starting from just £40. Tina added: “We almost ended in a pool party! I think everyone agreed it’s the perfect home from home when you want a daycation. And our couples room for joint treatments was a huge hit, I think it’s safe to say we’ll be helping a few romances along.” Boasting a team of ten beauty experts, Spa 303 has three luxury beauty rooms and offers a range of face and body treatments, as well as waxing, nails, massages and tanning, for both men and women. Prices start from £8 and it also offers a VIP beauty card rewarding loyal customers. Starting from just £30 a month, the ‘Essential’ card gives members free treatments, access to exclusive events and a host of other benefits. “We will be announcing other ventures and further sites in the next few months,” added Tina.
