From the Holden Files:
I'm off to Champneys in Tring, Hertfordshire, for a girlie break with my friends, including actresses Sarah Parish and Rose Keegan, who was my co-star in drama Hearts And Bones. The honorary male member of our gang is Corrie actor Charlie Condou.
Charlie's taking a break from daddy duties and has left daughter Georgia May, who's one, at home with his partner Cameron. Charlie and Cameron had Georgia May with a friend. He's such a doting dad and insists on showing me lots of cute pics.

In Camera Issue April 2002
Director of Photography Gavin Struthers knows that short films are a difficult genre to crack, but then he read Jill Parker's script of The Girl in the Red Dress, he immediately recognised its high calibre. "It was incredibly well written and the dialogue had a natural feel and pace," he recalls. Unusually for a 12 minute short film, it was shot on 35mm and stars Shirley Henderson (Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets and Bridget Jones' Diary) as Gaynor, Charlie Condou (Charlotte Gray and Judge Dredd) as Rory and Jenny Eclair (Perrier Award winning comedienne) as the girl in the red dress. Notably, it is Writer Jill Parker's first film script, Choreographer & Dance Film Director Aletta Collins' first fiction film as Director, and Production Manager Julia Valentine's first film as Producer.
On Thursday 1 April 2010, the Hoxton Hotel donated all proceeds from each room they sold on the day to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
In the evening, Actress Fay Ripley and Actor Charlie Condou dropped into the hotel to give staff a helping hand by welcoming guests and showing them to their rooms.
The money raised will go to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity’s new kidney centre.
We are delighted that the Hoxton Hotel supported Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity with such a fun initiative on April Fool's Day!
All the funds raised by the hotel will go towards a much needed new children's kidney centre which will transform the way the hospital provides treatment for our very sick children.
The Hoxton's fundraising idea is fantastic and we are very grateful to them for all their hardwork.
Islington Tribune - by CHARLOTTE CHAMBERS
Published: 19 September 2008
COMEDIAN Hardeep Singh Kohli took a five-minute break from being funny on Tuesday night as he threw his support behind an Islington charity for the homeless.
Mr Singh Kohli, speaking outside the Duke of Cambridge pub which was hosting a charity auction and dinner for charity Shelter from the Storm (SFTS), told the Tribune: “Just because you’re homeless doesn’t mean you don’t have integrity. I have to wonder if we’re a civilised country when some people don’t have a roof over their heads.”
The night raised £15,000, which will go towards opening the charity’s shelters seven nights a week.
At the moment, SFTS has two shelters – in St John’s Hall and St James crypt off Packington Street, which take a maximum of 23 guests.
Dominic Fenton, who volunteers for the charity, said: “Without the celebrities and Mr Hardeep it would not have been so much fun.”
