danwootton: Wow! the audience for the royal wedding is beyond awesome! 24.6 million on BBC1 and ITV1. Who said people didn't care? 

danwootton: The tragedy about the figure is that the BBC outrated ITV by far, despite its coverage being rubbish.

“Corrie Gay Dad Plot”

Antony Cotton has said that he is pleased Coronation Street is showing gay parenting in a positive light. In the upcoming Easter plot, Cotton's character Sean Tully travels to London to see his son Dylan and reunites with former partner Marcus Dent (Charlie Condou), before moving to raise the 3-year-old together. Speaking to New magazine, Cotton said: "It's two men pushing a buggy down a street - it's modern life. And if nothing else it will give people something to talk about.
