The 25th of October was an evening of champagne and canapés in the company of celebrity guests such as Lily Allen, Sue Perkins, Suran Dickson, Alison Moyet and Boy George. Their host was the affable Charlie Condou. Charlie's father, Pierre Condou, is the owner and manager of the Centrepoint venue, making CARNIVAL a family affair. Charlie and partner Cameron Laux made sure the event ran smoothly and that guests were made to feel pleased that they were donating to such a worthy cause. In fact, a few celebrity friends made mention later on Twitter that they missed one of the best social events of the year!
