Coronation Street star Charlie Condou has revealed that he would love his character Marcus Dent to have a fling with Jason Grimshaw. Although Marcus is happily settled with partner Sean Tully, played by Antony Cotton, Charlie told Inside Soap magazine he is very fond of Jason - who is played by Ryan Thomas. "Somehow I don't think it would ever happen," he said. But I love Jason. "Ryan is one of the loveliest, sweetest men I've worked with - he's naughty and a lot of fun!" He added that fans of Marcus and Sean - who are now happily raising Sean's son Dylan - would love to see them have the soap's first gay wedding. "I think it would be great if they got married," Charlie said. "There have been lots of rumours, but I'm afraid they're just that at the moment - rumours. "If Sean and Marcus were to get married, it would have to be a big, camp affair - so watch this space!"
