Coronation Street stars to throw big welcome back party for Michael Le Vell when he returns next year
Michael, 48, will return to the ITV soap in February on a £250,000 deal having been cleared of all 12 charges of child sex abuse last month
Coronation Street stars have broken their silence on Michael Le Vell and said: “He’s itching to get back.” Michael, 48, will return to the ITV soap in February on a £250,000 deal having been cleared of all 12 charges of child sex abuse last month. Charlie Condou, 40, who plays Marcus Dent, said the cast are planning a massive welcome back party. He said: “It’s brilliant to have him back, everyone’s relieved that stuff is over. “He has had a lot of stuff thrown at him and people saying things, but he’s got through it. “I think there will be a party or something planned for his return. I think he is just itching to get back.” Brooke Vincent, 21, who plays Sophie Webster, added: “We can’t wait to have him back. I've missed him.” “People forget that we are a team and we spend more time with them than we do our friends and family. We all get on and everyone has their role in the green room.” The show of support comes as Michael prepares to flee to Australia after he was sent death threats and thugs smashed his car. While Le Vell fought the sex charges his character Kevin Webster was sent to care for his sick dad. Once cleared Coronation Street bosses met with him within days to discuss his return, promising him big storylines. Friends of the actor have been worried about his mental state after the trial which saw him split from 31-year-old girlfriend Blanca Fouche.

Back in the '70s and '80s the Muppets and their creator Jim Henson were headliners. The longevity of The Muppet Show creatures and the characters from Sesame Street are testimony to Jim's creative genius. His third foray into showbiz was to create an hour long show based around some of his more familiar characters but each episode featured a story teller segment in the same vein as Walt Disney's Sunday night features. The Jim Henson Hour kicked off in 1989 on USA network television. It was in episode 12 of season 1, that Charlie Condou provided the voice of Brother #2.
The episode entitled "Food" was predominantly about Kermit having bother trying to get the show going, because his staff were waiting for their lunches to be delivered. The "Food" episode was only shown in the UK and was not aired in America.

The Jim Henson Hour was run as a showcase for a variety of Jim Henson Productions' television work. Before the show premiered, Jim Henson created a pitch tape which would be used to sell the concept to a network, as well as a short pilot called Inner Tube. In the same time slot a week before the series debuted, the special Sesame Street: 20 and Still Counting aired with the same closing credits font and closing logo as the series proper, and was referred to by critic John J. O'Connor as "really sort of the first installment of The Jim Henson Hour." One of the show's regular segments was "MuppeTelevision," a half-hour comedy-variety show updating the classic Muppet Show. The show also featured regular visits with the StoryTeller, half-hour Muppet specials, and hour-long Creature Shop specials.
