Let me just clarify my position: I tend to vote for any party that looks after education, the arts, welfare and the environment. In every previous election I have changed my voting preferences based on the party that suited my needs. But, this past Australian election has left me wondering how Rupert Murdoch and Gina Riley have been able to buy favour with the Australian public?

When Rupert Murdoch really wants to control the masses like mindless sheep he'll stop at nothing to use his own Fox Network resources and contacts to hoodwink the public.

In Australia, all political advertisements are supposed to stop 3 days before an election. To everyone's surprise in the intervening period last week came a fully endorsed politically motivated YouTube clip which was shown on every Murdoch outlet across Australia. It was deemed "entertainment" not "advertising." It snuck under the radar and very few complaints against it have made it into the mostly Murdoch controlled press or shows like Q&A.

"Ron Burgundy" a character from the film "Anchorman" was dragged out to garner more publicity for Tony Abbott and the Liberal party.

I ask, "Rupert have you no shame?"
