Charlie Condou is a Guardian (British newspaper) columnist, gay rights activist, and actor who is best known for his role as male midwife, Marcus Dent, in the British soap opera, 'Coronation Street'.

Charlie was listed number 8 in the Independent on Sunday (British newspaper) 'Pink Power List' 2011of the most influential gay men and lesbians.
