Coronation Street's Todd Grimshaw returns to Weatherfield to ''wreak havoc''.
The gay lawyer sets his sights on Marcus Dent (Charlie Condou) and won't let his girlfriend Maria Connor (Samia Ghadie) get in the way of what he wants as Bruno Langley - who is reprising his role as Todd - says his character has changed. He explained: ''Todd has his eye on Marcus and he's out to get what he wants. ''He likes a challenge and I guess he's probably one of those people who likes the drama of splitting couples up. ''It's all for his own ego and just to prove that he can. ''People know Todd as a nice guy but he must have been hurt in some way in a past relationship and that's why he is like he is now. ''Todd's come back to wreak a bit of havoc.'' And Todd also plans to string along Marcus' ex-lover Sean Tully (Anthony Cotton), who lives with his mum Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver). Bruno added, ''Todd can be very charming when he wants to be and has a way of being able to get people on his side. He's very clever and can turn things around so that the other person thinks it's their fault. ''He's quick on his feet with his answers and he knows that Sean fancies him, so he uses that against him. ''And it will be Sean that Bruno uses to persuade his mum to let him stay -- and cause trouble. ''He manipulates Sean. Nice Todd has well and truly gone.'' However, one person who Todd can't win over is his brother Jason (Ryan Thomas). Bruno said: ''Jason has his doubts about Todd's intentions. ''Jason's questioning why Todd is staying around and why he's acting so horribly. He's always had a problem with Todd being the golden boy, but I think that could all change. The tables have turned... ''

Coronation Street’s Todd Grimshaw out to steal Marcus off Maria

They now live happily together with Maria's son. But their idyllic life is about to come to a dramatic halt, when an explosive storyline tying in with Todd’s return kicks off on November 4. “Todd has his eye on Marcus and he’s out to get what he wants. He likes a challenge and I guess he’s probably one of those people who like the drama of splitting couples up. It’s all for his own ego and just to prove that he can,” actor Bruno Langley revealed.
"People know Todd as a nice guy, but he must have been hurt in some way in a past relationship and that’s why he is like he is now." Of course, Todd’s less-than-subtle affection towards Marcus also rubs the nurse’s ex-boyfriend Sean up the wrong way. And while mum Eileen is pleased to have her youngest son back with her, others are less than happy to see Todd return to Weatherfield. Nick, who is suffering brain damage following the car crash brother David caused, isn’t exactly Todd’s biggest fan, after he tried to kiss him – while dating Nick’s sister Sarah-Lou. He then slept with a gay nurse behind Sarah’s back, leaving the family even more furious at him!
Even Jason, Todd’s elder brother, isn't quite sure what he’s up to on his return to the street. "Jason’s questioning why Todd is staying around and why he’s acting so horribly. He’s always had a problem with Todd being the golden boy, but I think that could all change,” Bruno revealed. As if all of that isn’t bad enough, Todd’s ex is about to turn up in Weatherfield. And the reason he’s come? Todd owes him money!
