This blog will be a record for an actor whose fame is certainly on the rise. He has been in show biz for 25 years as of 2011 and his name is rarely heard outside the UK.

It it my hope that I can make Charlie Condou's name a little more recognized in other markets as well as win him more fans back in his home country.

This blog is not endorsed by Charlie or anyone connected with his family, it is merely a fan blog that is completely non-profit and voluntary.

Below: Charlie made a triumphant return to UK screens on Sunday 24th April 2011 with his second run playing Marcus on Coronation Street the first being back in 2007. Two days after his appearance he was still rating on Twitter Trendsmap around the town of Manchester England.

GAY Corrie star Charlie Condou has become a dad after a close female pal had a baby girl. The friend, who acted as his surrogate, gave birth two weeks early. The little girl, not yet named, is now at home with Charlie, 36. The proud dad, who plans to raise the child with his partner, wrote on Twitter: "I have the most beautiful daughter in the world!" Charlie played midwife Marcus Dent in Corrie. The character met on-screen boyfriend Sean after gay Sean fathered a child for pal Violet Wilson.
